This Black Panther Mask shaped coin is the third release of the Crown Mint’s ultra high relief Marvel Icon Series. Design of the coin is based upon the technologically advanced vibranium Panther Habit worn by the late Chadwick Boseman in 2018 in the film “Black Panther,” the 18th theatrical release of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The antiqued 2021 Black Panther coin is struck from 2 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver.
The ultra high relief mask shaped coin measures 28 x 45 mm.
The brilliant uncirculated coin includes a Certificate of Authenticity crafted from 2 grams of .999 fine silver.
Mintage is limited to only 5,000 pieces.
Dramatic Three-dimensional Design
Obverse: The obverse, underside of the shaped coin is antiqued and slightly concave, depicting the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Fiji, enclosed in a circle with the inscriptions “FIJI 2021,” “FIVE DOLLARS” “2 oz.” and “.999 FINE SILVER.” The “MARVEL” copyright appears below.
Reverse: The reverse features a stunning replica of Black Panther’s protective mask. The amazingly sculptural shape is finished with a gorgeous matte black finish, lending depth to the mask’s meticulously detailed tribal patterns.
