This 2020 China Vault Protector Azure Dragon of the East 1oz. Silver Proof Medal is the second of four issues in a spectacular new "Four Guardians" medal series from China.

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) graded this 2020 China Vault Protector Azure Dragon of the East 1oz Silver Proof Medal at the perfect Proof 70 (PF70) level.
This medal was struck to proof quality at the famous New Century Mint in China.
The medal was struck on a 1oz. .999 pure silver planchet.
The medal was designed by Song Fei of the Shenzhen Mint.
It has a stunningly low mintage of 1,888.
Azure Dragon of the East Design
Obverse: The obverse of the medal depicts the cultural blockbuster, the Great Wall of China. It is inscribed with "1 oz. Ag .999" and the year 2020. The medal features a square hole in the center made famous by the iconic Chinese Cash Coin.

Reverse: The reverse of the medal honours the mythic Dragon of the East. The dragon is a lucky symbol that winds its way around the square hole in the center of the coin. Also featured is a compass rose, demarking the four points of the compass which the Four Guardians protect.
