Obverse: On the obverse, the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II," "NIUE," "TWO DOLLARS" and "2022" encircle an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in a right facing pose. As a product officially licensed by DC Comics, the appropriate trademark citation appears below, along with the inscription "1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER." The Queen's portrait was created by award-winning British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley in 1998.

Reverse: The reverse is fully colorised, featuring the face of Batman rendered in a classic comic book style, with his lips set an expression of grim determination. The superhero's eyes glow white from behind his iconic black cowl.
