Obverse: The likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is centered on the obverse. The inscriptions "ELIZABETH II" and "AUSTRALIA" curve overhead, while the coin's denomination of "1 DOLLAR" sweeps below. The Queen's portrait was crafted by award-winning British sculptor Jody Clark in 2015.

Reverse: The reverse image showcases the keen gaze, sharply curved beak, and gorgeous feather pattern of the head of a Wedge-Tailed Eagle. The impressive eagle portrait is surrounded by a border inscribed with "AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE," "2022 1 OZ .9999 SILVER" and the Mint mark "P."

This 2022-P Australia Wedge-Tailed Eagle 1 oz. silver coin was submitted to the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) for review within thirty days of release, earning the First Releases attribution. Upon examination, the coin was deemed worthy of the NGC's highest grade of Mint State 70 for its perfectly sharp strike, flawless surfaces and fabulous eye appeal. The coin is encapsulated in a sonically sealed NGC protective holder surrounded by a dramatically contrasting red foil style core, accompanied by a certification label signed by the Wedge-Tailed Eagle image designer John Mercanti.
